BUELL

The Buell motorbike brand is a builder of American motorbike which come from East Troy in the Wisconsin region. 

This brand will be created at the beginning of the years 1980 by Mr. Buell Erik. 

Erik Buell worked at a local reseller of motorbike to pay his evening class. So, he move up rapidly to mechanic appentice job, to the manager for the after-sales service. 

Erik wanted absolutely have his engineering degree to work in his world of dream : the motorbike. 

At the end of his certificate, Erik find a job at Harley Davidson as an engineer.

Erik decide to leave Harley Davidson in 1982 to pursue one of his best dream : create his own best bike. For that, he develop the RW750 in two-stroke four cylinder to, then appoint it in a motorbike race named AMA Formula 1. But, a modification of the regulation excluded the bike of the category. 

So, Erik decide to create an American sport motorbike. 

For a series creation of an innovative model, it is Harley Davidson business which supply the motors to Erik so that realize his project. 

Erik decide to create a new society named Buell Motorcycle Company whose 49% of parts will be possessed by Harley Davidson business. Then, over time, Harley Davidson decided to buy back 49%  additional of the Buell Motorcycle Company business. 

Anyway, Erik Buell kept 2% of the business with an employment contract for long term. This contract will allow him to continue his innovation with two wheels.

We will observed at the ened of the years 1980, the production of the bike Buell SE is doing around a hundred annually. 

It's finally in October 2009 that Mr. Erik Buell announce a sad news that is the end of the Buell brand. Indeed, it's cause of Harley Davidson which wanted focus on their own develooement of two wheels.
