MBKThe Motobecane brand born in 1924 come from a french builder of two-wheeler which located at Rouvroy.
This motorcycle brand is a Yamaha subsidiary.
This brand were created by 3 men which are Charles Benoît, Abel Bardin and Alphonse Tallet.
The first motorbike of Motobecane will be selled out in 1924 until 1929.
In 1933, Motobecane made their first motorbike in four-stroke engine.
Motobecane win their first victory to Bol d'Or in 1939.
But, in 1983, the Motobecane brand go bankrupt and, then, this brand became MBK industry. Then, in 1986, the famous Yamaha brand will become the main shareholder of MBK.
In 2002, MBK is forced to stop the production of moped. Then, it's not allowed to sells this motorbike after the 30 June 2003 because it's not in compliance with the Euro 2 norm.
The 26th November 2002, MBK 51 is the last motorbike model to be made in France.
In 2017, the brand decide to retrain for the maxi scooter.
