Derbi will be created in 1922. Simeo Rabasa knonw a resounding success through of a creation of a little shop for bike repairs.

But, it's in 1944 that Simeo Rabasa with the help of his brother, go into the motorbike industry. So, they decided to found a business named Bicicletas Rabasa.

In 1949, the creator Simeo Rabasa come out his first model with the name SRS. It is a motorbike 50 cm³. The sales result is rather good and it's through of that is his little business extend at a national level. 

Seeing that his first model selling very well, he will decided to put another again on the market. This one will be named Derbi 250cc which will be a derivation of bicycle and it's with this model that the brand taked the name Derbi.

This motorbike come from a model named Jawa 250cc. It was made during ten years with some improvement of model.

Derbi go into the world of speed and began to be known in the years 50. 

Derbi continue to create different models and it's especially through of Coyote Dderbi and an other model, Super Antorcha, if the brand export is international. 

In the years of 2000 Derbi begin go into scooters but don't forget the sportive motorbike like the model GPR.

In 2006, Derbi get into the model Mulhacén 659 which begin THE model of Derbi.

In 2010, after win the title of world champion of builder, this will demonstrate that this brand get into position of the most high level in podium.
