SYMThe Sym brand created in 1954 at Neihu in Taiwan, but its headquarters it's placed in Hsinchu.
Its part of a Sanyang group. This brand will be imported in France by a society named Disalco.
In 1961, the Sym brand become Sanyang Industry.co.
In 1962, Sanyang build motorbike model in 50, 150 and 160 cm³.
Later, there is a good harmony with the Honda brand.
In 1974, they put on the market their first motorbike which will be Wolf 125.
In 1990, they begin to export their motorbike in France with the Sanyang L125A.
In 2002, it's the announcement to the end of partnership with Honda.
But the brand don't weaken and become closer with Hyundai.
In 2019, the brand released the Maxi-scooter TL500.
Today, Sym produce around of 300 000 motorbike/scooter.
