YAMAHA

Brand
YAMAHAYamaha was founded in 1887 by Torakusu Yamaha. After an apprenticeship in watchmaking, he worked in medical equipment and then in organ repair. It was there that he decided to launch this musical instrument brand. However, he died in 1916. The company was acquired by Nippon Gaki.
During the war, the company was forced to stop producing instruments for military equipment. It was at the end of the war that Yamaha turned its production towards motorcycles. The YA-1 appeared in 1955.
Since then, Yamaha has continued to evolve by disating itself in a register of sporty motorcycles such as the RD 500LC capable of reaching 217km/h. Yamaha motorcycles will also win many competitions in Japan as well as in Europe.
Yamaha produces scooters and motorcycles of all types, from cruisers to sports cars to all-terrain vehicles, and also produces all-terrain vehicles, snowmobiles, boats and motors while keeping an ear in the music world.
